Loren Ross Crouse 2001 Halifax Chronicle Herald Loren Ross Crouse, 80, Upper Branch, passed away December 23, 2001, in the Rosedale Home for Special Care, New Germany. Born at Upper Branch, he was a son of the late Alvin and Sadie (Hirtle) Crouse. He is survived by his son, Philip, Lower Northfield; sister, Barbara Frank, Dartmouth; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sister, Arlene Crouse and half-brother, Russell Hirtle. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Sweeny's Funeral Home, Bridgewater. A graveside service will be held as a later date in Lone Pine Cemetery, Upper Branch. No flowers or visitation by request. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice through the funeral home.
