Cooke, 81, Lockeport, died January 18, 2000, in QEII Health Sciences Centre, Halifax. Born at Lockeport, she was a daughter of the late Ross and Josephine (Farrington) MacKenzie. Surviving are her husband, Ernest; daughters, Lorna Townsend, West Head, Lockeport; Irene Hallett, Lockeport; sisters,Grace MacKay, Halifax; Lillian Harding, Lockeport; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Charlotte Savoury; brothers, Rolland, Murray, Chester, Dexter. Funeral 11 a.m. today, January 22, in the Lockeport Pentecostal Church, Pastor David Elliot officiating. Burial in Lockeport Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to any charity.
