Arthur Joseph Mason Redden 2000 Halifax Chronicle Herald >From the collection of Gwen Christie Arthur Joseph Mason Redden, 57, Cambridge, died suddenly on November 6, 2000, in the Valley Regional Hospital. A long-time resident of Bridgewater, Arthur was an avid sportsman who spent many happy hours fishing the LaHave River. He also enjoyed hunting, curling, and golf. He served in the Royal Canadian Navy until 1970 before embarking on a career at Michelin from which he retired in 1999. Arthur is survived by his sons, Derrick (Kim), Hebbville; Michael (Lisa), Lawrencetown; grandchildren, Hana, Hayden, Sebastian, Joshua, and Matthew; sisters, Karen (Bob) Tumilty, Annapolis Royal; Pearl (Bob) Boyd, Lower Sackville; brother, Kerry (Ellie), Woodstock, Ontario; nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Arthur was the former husband of Mary Redden, who served as a town councillor in Bridgewater. Cremation and a private family memorial have taken place.
