OBIT # 5235 - EASTERN CHRONICLE - APRIL 6, 1939 MRS.M. MacGILLIVARY An aged and esteemed citizen of Westville, MRS.MARGARET ANN MacGILLIVARY, passed away at the home of her son, HUGH MacGILLIVARY, North Main Street. The deceased was 91 years of age, and had been in failing health the past year. Mrs.MacGillivary formerly resided at Saltsprings and came to town a few years ago. Besides her son, Hugh, she is also survived by a daughter, MRS.MUNROE GUNN, Six Mile Brook and by several grandchildren. A short funeral service was held at the home of her son, conducted by Rev.M.A.MacMillan, of the Westville United Church, Wednesday afternoon, followed by a service at the United Church at Saltsprings, in charge of the pastor, Rev.J.R.Calder Fraser. Interment was made at the Saltsprings cemetery.
