Medford Lorraine Drew 1966 Bridgewater Bulletin On the 13th. day of August, Medford Lorraine Drew passed away at the age of 16, at the V.G. Hospital, Halifax. To many people his death came as a shock. He was the son of Ellis and Beatrice Drew (Whynot), of Springfield. Surviving are his father, mother, and three brothers, Lawrence, Boyd, and Myles, all at home. Burial service was at North River Lutheran Church, conducted by Rev. Rolf Meindl who spoke words of comfort. Hymns were "Nearer, My God, to Thee" and "Softly and Tenderly Jesus is Calling." Pall bearers were Brian Robar, Luther Tanner, Barry DeMone, Johnny Robar, Joe Holdershaw, and Edward Holdershaw. Flowers were many and beautiful. Friends and relatives were present from far and near to express their sympathy and to show their sincere esteem for the family.
