Whynot, 81, Liverpool, died January 22, 2000, in Queens General Hospital, Liverpool. Born at New Grafton, Queens County, he was a son of the late William and Kathryn (Canning) Whynot. He was an employee of Bowater Mersey Paper Company Limited for over 40 years working in the steam department. He enjoyed trout fishing and playing darts. Surviving are his wife, the former Mildred M. Dolliver; daughters, Patsy Smith, New Germany and Doris Levy and Brenda Boutilier, Mersey Point; sons, Mitchell, Liverpool; Ralph Jr., Dowling, Ontario; Randy, Mersey Point; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister; Gladys Whalen, Liverpool; brothers, Billy, Peter, Sudbury, Ontario; Robert, Richmond, B.C. He was predeceased by brothers, Vincent, Paul, Mark. Visitation 7-9 p.m. today, funeral 2 p.m. Tuesday, both in Chandlers' Funeral Chapel, Liverpool, Rev. Karen Lynch officiating. Burial in Zion United Cemetery, Payzant Street, Liverpool. Family flowers only. Donations to any charity.
