Banford Ritcey 1943 A memorial service for Banford Ritcey, Rose Bay, was held Sunday afternoon at Trinity United Church, the service being conducted by the pastor, Rev. W.K. Pace who gave a comforting address. A quartette composed of Mrs. Pace, Miss Rosabelle Lohnes, Oscar Parks, and Lemuel Zinck sang "The Old Rugged Cross" and Mrs. Pace sang "Face to Face." Beautiful floral tributes were placed in the chancel in memory of the departed. Mr. Rticey was steward on the ill-fated fishing schooner,"Flora Alberta." He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Israel Ritcey of Riverport and is survived by his widow, formerly Miss Iva Mossman; by one son, Claude; and by a granddaughter, Dorothy Ritcey. Fred Ritcey and Irvin Ritcey of the United States are brothers and Mrs. Reginald Bowser of the United States a sister.
