Dena Mae Reinhardt 2006 Halifax Chronicle Herald Dena Mae Reinhardt, 97, Bridgewater, passed away December 5, 2006, in Hillside Pines Home for Special Care. Born at Cherryfield, she was a daughter of the late Wallace and Mary (Munroe) Conn. In her early years she operated the family farm. After retirement from the family farm she was employed as a cook and housekeeper at Pleasant Rest Home in Bridgewater for 13 years. Because of her love of animals ahe took great pleasure helping to raise money for SHAID Tree Animal Shelter in Bridgewater. She was also active as a volunteer at the Dawson Daisy Centre. She is survived by nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Lawrence Rafuse and her second husband, Earl Reinhardt. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. with prayers at 3 p.m. Thursday in R.A. Corkum Funeral Home, Wileville. A graveside service will be held in Oak Grove Cemetery, Kentville at 2 p.m. Friday, Padre Earle Leslie officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to SHAID Tree Animal Shelter.
