Nellie M. Conrad 1999 Halifax Chronicle Herald Nellie M. Conrad, 104, Melville Lodge, formerly of 2100 Robie Street, Halifax, passed away peacefully May 13, 1999. Born at New Germany, she was the daughter of the late Amos and Bertha (Conrad) Arenburg. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection, Halifax. Surviivng are son, Gordon and wife Marguerite; grandchildren, Blair and Karen; brother, Laird, Truro. She was predeceased by her husband, Captain Akiah Conrad; sister, Vera Dermer; brothers, Murray, Floyd, and Milton. Cremation haas taken place. Memorial service will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in Trinity Lutheran Church, New Germany, Rev. Ted Heinz officiating. Burial will be in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or charity of donor's choice.
