Tyler Vance Ramey 1977 Bridgewater Bulletin Relatives and friends were shocked and saddened to hear of the passing of Tyler Vance Ramey at his home on November 29, at the age of 54 years. He was born at Simpson's Corner, the son of the late Henry and Alice (Seamone) Ramey. He leaves to mourn, his wife, Vella; three sons, Wade and Gregory, New Germany; Carson, at home; three daughters, Josephine Walsh, Simpson's Corner; Beth Mullen, Simpson's Corner; and Darlene, at home. Surviving him are two sisters, Mrs. Beatrice Cail, Maassachusetts; Mrs. Inez Bridges, Florida; also three brothers, Eldred, New Germany; Lemage and Harris of Simpson's Corner. He was predeceased by two sisters, Mrs. Mona Russell, Mrs. Agnes Brown, and a brother, Swasey. Funeral service was held on Thursday, December 1, at 2 p.m. at St. John's in the Wilderness Anglican Church, New Germany. Rev. Gordon Rigby officiated, assisted by Rev. Chard. Burial was in the New Germany Community Cemetery. Pallbearers were Maynard Varner, Roger Varner, Edgar Russell, Vance Ramey, Ray Russell, and Allan Russell.
