Raymond Edgar Wolfe 2000 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Wednesday, January 12, 2000. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Raymond Edgar Wolfe, 64, Weston, Onratio formerly of Western Head, Queens County, passed away at the Keele Lawrence Centre, Ontario, on January 7, 2000, after a long and courrageous battle with cancer. He was a son of the late Hilda (Guest) and William Wolfe, Western Head. He was employed by the McDonnell Douglas Aircraft Co. of Canada Ltd., Malton, Ontario, for 33 years, retiring in 1995. He was an avid fan of many sports, including throughoutbred horse racing, and will be sadly missed by his racing buddies. He was a kind and loving brother and loved animals, and used to feed the many stray cats around his residence. He is survived by brothers, Harold (Jessie), Western Head; Forrest (Mary Jane), Liverpool; Donald, Halifax; sisters, Vera (Joseph) Coombs, Milton; Kathleen Conrad, Halifax; Dorothy Wolfe, Halifax; Ethel (Gordon) Dorey, Liverpool; Ruby (Milford) Roy,Halifax; and Margaret Wolfe, Halifax. He is also survived by maternal aunt, Ella Guest, Nashua, N.H.; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Archie, William Jr., Kenneth, and a baby brother in infancy. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service is being held in Weston with a service and committal to be held in Grace Church, Western Head at a later date. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
