Helen Grace Wentzell 1994 Bridgewater Bulletin The small community of Midville Branch was shocked and saddened by the sudden passing of Helen Grace Wentzell on Monday, September 19, 1994, at the South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater, at the age of 75. Born at Farmington, she was the daughter of the late William and Annie (Hubley) Sperry. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She lived all her life on a farm, and she loved to garden. She also loved quilting, knitting, and sewing. She leaves to mourn her loss, husband, Vernon; four daughters, Marguerite (Mrs. Peter Poirier), Bridgewater; Carol (Mrs. David Weagle), Upper Branch; Vera (Mrs. Donald Oickle), and Deborah (Mrs. Avard Foster), both of Midville Branch; three sons, Roger, Hemford; Rex, Riverport; and John, East River; four sisters, Marie Nelson and Kathleen Sperry, both of Farmington; Bessie Silver, Watford; Glennis Wentzell, West Northfield; brother, Douglas, Bridgewater, 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Medford; a daughter in infancy; two grandsons, Monte and Michael; a great granddaughter, Ginger; brother, Charles; and sister, Roxie Eisnor.
