Murray Penny Charlie Veinot Bridgewater Bulletin Published: May 8, 1917. Town and County News Pte. Murray Penny, son of Thomas Penny of this town was killed in action on April 9th. He enlisted in the 64th. Batt. and was transferred to the 2th. Pte. Charlie Veinot of Upper Cornwall has died of wounds. Both the above were good soldiers and brave boys who gave their lives willingly for their country. Let all in this town remember that our lives are spared by these sacrifices and we want to do our bit by paying.
