UNKNOWN PAPER - 6 MARCH 1951 ANGUS SUTHERLAND - Tatamagouche - Many friends and neighbors were shocked to hear of the sudden death of Angus SUTHERLAND, The Falls on Sunday afternoon, February 25. Although he had been in failing health for some time he was able to be on the alert and always interested in the doings of the Community. Deceased was in his 76th year. The largely attended funeral service was held from the Presbyterian Church, The Falls, and was conducted by his pastor, Rev. William ISAAC, Tatamagouche. Surviving are two nephews, Fraser MURRAY, Plainfield, and Arnold MURRAY, Pictou, also one grandnephew living in U.S.A. and a cousin, Miss Elizabeth SUTHERLAND, with whom he made his home. Pall bearers were Stanley MATHESON, George MacLEOD, William MacLEOD, Russell MINGO, Gilbert MURRAY and Daniel SUTHERLAND, all of The Falls. Interment was in the Murray Cemetery, The Falls.
