Marjorie Claire Netting 2000 Halifax Chronicle Herald >From the collection of Gwen Christie Marjorie Claire Netting, 86, 191 Pereau Road, Canning, formerly of Halifax, died Friday, January 14, 2000, in the Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Halifax, she was a daughter of the late William and Clara (Hurshman) Burns. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was predeceased by her husband, Donald; sisters, Beatrice, Ethel, Violet; brothers, William, Louis, Tom, John, Arthur. Memorial service 10 a.m. Tuesday, January 18, in St. Pius Roman Catholic Church, Fairview, Rev. Duncan MacMaster officiating. Burial in Fairview Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia. Arrangements are entrusted to W.C. Hiltz Funeral Parlour, Kentville.
