Melba was born August 31, 1909, the daughter of the late Archibald and Nettie (Hirtle) Lyon. She is survived by a sister, Jessie in Lockeport. She was predeceased by husband, Wilfred Henley; sisters, Eva and Flossie; and brothers, Ford, Phinney, Ernest, Milton, Alfred, and Merton in infancy. Cremation has taken place.
