UNKNOWN PAPER - 27 OCTOBER 1926 MARGARET MACLEOD, widow of the late Donald MacLEOD, a respected resident of The Falls, passed away at her home on Tuesday Oct. 12th after several months' illness at the age of sixty-eight years. The deceased was the eldest daughter of the late William BAILLIE of Earltown. She was a great sufferer but endured her suffering with great Christian fortitude. All that loving care and tender nursing could do was done for her. She was a woman with a fine personality, devoted to her home and family. Always bright and cheerful, her death is a source of real sorrow to the bereaved family, and all who enjoyed the privilege of her friendship. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church. The funeral was held from the home residence, and was largely attended by a host of relatives and friends, who came from various sections to pay their last respects to one they had loved and honored. The floral tributes were many and beautiful. The services at the home and grave were conducted by Rev. A. FERGUSON of Little Harbor, a former pastor. Interment was at The Falls cemetery on the 14th of October where the remains were laid beside those of her husband, who had predeceased her four years before. She leaves to mourn the loss of a loving mother, two sons and one daughter, also five sisters and two brothers. Her memory will be cherished in the home and community.
