    3. UNKNOWN PAPER - 5 MARCH 1968 JESSIE BELLE MORROW, widow of William MORROW of North River, passed away in the Colchester Hospital late Sunday evening, February 23, at the age of 78. Mrs. MORROW had been in poor health for some time but only seriously ill for the past month. She was the former Jessie Belle MacKAY of Tatamagouche Mountain, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alex MacKAY. She and her husband, William MORROW, who predeceased her two and a half years ago, had been residents at North River since 1945. Mrs. MORROW is survived by one daughter, Lola (Mrs. Carl MacQUARRIE) of North River; three sons, Robert, 339 Robie STREET, Truro; Earle and Lloyd, both of Hamilton, Ont., and ten grandchildren; also two sisters, Mrs. Anna LOCKERBY, Tatamagouche, and Verda, (Mrs. W.E. TUCKER), 23 Archibald Street, Truro. The funeral was held from the Mattatall Funeral Home on February 26, at 2 o'clock. The service was conducted by Rev. Delbert R. CHATREAU of St. James Presbyterian Church of which she was a member. The St. James choir, under the direction of Prof. Haralds BERINO as organist, sang the hymns, "Abide With Me," and "Unto the Hills." The floral tributes were many and beautiful. The pallbearers were Allan LOCKERBY, Douglas MacKAY, Daniel MacKAY, Isaac MacQUARRIE, Walter TUCKER and Stewart LYNDS. The committal service was held at the Lewis Memorial Chapel in Robie Street Cemetery. Interment will be in Coldstream Cemetery, Valley, in the spring.
