Moyle Kitchener Rafuse 1997 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Friday, August 29, 1997. Moyle Kitchener Rafuse, 80, Dartmouth, died August 28, 1997, in Dartmouth General Hospital. Born July 18, 1917, at Falkland Ridge, he was a son of the late Edward and Gladys (Veinot) Rafuse. He was a veteran of the Second World War and was employed with the city of Dartmouth for 30 years, retiring in 1982. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Surviving are his wife, the former Ruth Pauline Hannam; daughter, Sheila Brown (Blair Gammon), Porter's Lake; son, Kevin and wife Elaine Rafuse, Lower Sackville; stepdaughter, Shirley (Mrs. Barry Doyle), Beaverbank; stepsons, Sutton Walker, Dartmouth; Blair and wife Gail, Lower Sackville; 14 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by son, David Allan Rafuse; brothers, Harold, Lloyd ;sister, Eileen Zinck; stepson, Harry Walker. Visitation will be 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today, funeral 10 a.m. Saturday, both in Atlantic Funeral Home, Dartmouth. Burial will be in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. Family flowers only.
