UNKNOWN PAPER - 1970 NELLIE MAY ROODE, 87, widow of Newton ROODE of Bible Hill died at her home yesterday. Born in Valley, Colchester County she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William MacKENZIE. She was predeceased by her husband and one son, Lewis. She is survived by three sons, Graham and Richard, both of Upper North River; Roy, Kemptown; three daughters, Mrs. Lora McNUTT, Upper Stewiacke; Beatrice (Mrs. Hartley LYNDS), Earltown; and Violet (Mrs. Vernon McNUTT), Bible Hill. The body is at the Mattatall Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. Burial will be in Blackmore Cemetery, Upper North River.
