Hirtle, 103, Grand View Manor, Berwick, formerly of Delhaven, Kings County, died January 21, 2000, in the manor. Born at Delhaven, she was a daughter of the late William "Billy" Irving and Sarah (Thorpe) Hirtle. Surviving are nieces, Phyllis Patterson, New Minas; Mary Fortin, Ontario; several grand-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Brenton; brother, Cecil. Visitation 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, funeral 2 p.m. Thursday, both in W.C. Hiltz Funeral Parlour, Kentville, Rev. Doctor M.R. Cherry officiating, and assisted by Rev. Karl Uhrstrom. Burial in Lakeview Cemetery, Lakeville. Donations to any charity.
