Milton E. Ramey 2000 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Thursday, January 20, 2000. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Milton E. Ramey, 87, Queens Manor, Liverpool, formerly of Milton, died January 18, 2000, in Queens Manor. Born at Wellington, Queens County, he was a son of the late Hastings and Lilly (Hartling) Ramey. He was a former employee of Bowater Mersey Paper Company Limited working first as a truck driver and later as a scaler. He was an avid bingo player and enjoyed woodworking and gardening. Surviving are sisters, Muriel Freeman, Buckfield; Dena, Bridgewater; brothers, Gordon, Greenfield; Irvin, Buckfield. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Vivian Mansfield. Visitation 7-9 p.m. today, funeral 11 a.m. Friday, both in Chandlers' Funeral Home, Liverpool, Rev. John Kaulback officiating. Burial in Milton Community Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Queens Manor, Liverpool or to the Buckfield United Baptist Church.
