Born at Rhodes Corner, she was a daughter of the late Isaiah and Cora (Randall) Lohnes. She had worked for many years at national Sea Products, Lunenburg Dvision and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Lunenburg. She is survived by sisters, Eleanor Anderson, Truro and Phyllis (Mrs. Lawrence Brinton), Halifax; nieces, Kathleen Greek, Dartmouth; and Betty Lou (Lohnes) LeBlanc; nephews, Eric Feener, Centre; Donald Fields, Lunenburg; and Gary Anderson, Truro. She was predeceased by her first husband, Murray Allen; second husband, Edwin Crouse; sisters, Pearl and Blanche; brothers, Cyril, Earl, and an infant brother, Morton. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, Lunenburg, with visitation today from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in Zion Lutheran Church, Lunenburg, Rev. Douglas Moore officiating. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, Lunenburg, Lunenburg Fire Department, Royal Canadian Legion, Lunenburg Branch 23, or any charity.
