Mrs. Richard Spindler 1976 Mrs. Richard Spindler, age 68, Riverport, passed away at home after a short illness, on May 15, 1976. Born at Baker Settlement, she was the former Gladys May Ritcey, daughter of the late Angus and Agnes (Zinck) Ritcey. Surviving besides her husband are two son, LeRoy, residing at home; and Algean, East LaHave; a daughter, Joyce (Mrs. Melvin Lewis), Botwood, Newfoundland; two brothers, Fred, Bridgewater; and LeRoy, Baker Settlement; six grandchildren and a great grandson. She was predeceased by a son, Eric; brother, Calvin; and grandson, Dwight. Funeral service was held Thursday, June 17, at St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Rose Bay. Rev. Ray Elberson officiated. Hymns sung were "The Lord My Shepherd Is" and "Abide With Me." Interment was in Feltzen South Cemetery. Pallbearers were Amos Crouse, Paul Ritcey, Wilson Niford, Milton Gerhardt, Stuart Wentzell, and Fred Joudrey.
