Lester Carl Veno 1994 Halifax Chronicle Herald Lester Carl Veno, 70, 2556 Gospel Woods Road, Arlington, Kings County, died August 31, 1994, at home. Born at Farmington, Lunenburg County, he was a son of the late Clarence W. and Bessie (Bezanson) Veno. He was a retired factory worker, having been employed for 38 years with Bulldog Electrical Products Limited in Weston, Ontario. He is survived by his wife, the former M. Ruth Bickerton; seven sisters, Viola Whall, Woodville, Kings County; Marguerite Scott, Alice Gray, Virginia ( Mrs. Earl Ward), all of Halifax; Mary (Mrs. George Smith), Factorydale, Kings County; Beatrice Bligh, Berwick; Shirley Wilson, Houlton, Maine; two brothers, his twin, Lincoln, Factorydale; Corey, Brighton, Michigan; a godson, Andrew Burgoyne, Coboconk, Ontario; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Muriel; brother, Robert. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 13, in St. Michael's and All Angels Anglican Church, Canning, Rev. Stephen Vail officiating. Burial will be in Berwick Cemetery. Donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or Victorian Order of Nurses. Arrangements are under the direction of W.C. Hiltz Funeral Home, Kentville.
