OBIT # 5149 - HALIIFAX HERALD - 18 NOV 1950 STELLARTON, Nov 17 - Mrs. Joseph Totten, 61, died at her home on McKay Street, here today after an illness of 10 weeks. The former Lula Mattison, of Oxford, she was a member of the Baptist Church of New Glasgow, and was prominent in the Women's Council and the Red Cross. Surviving are her husband, Joseph; four sisters, two living in Oxford, and one each in Truro and California; and two brothers, on in Oxford and one in Reno, Nevada. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday from her home with burial in Robie Street cemetery, Truro.
