Ida A. Acker October, 1984 Halifax Chronicle Herald Mrs. Ida A. Acker, 84, Caledonia, Queens County, died Friday in Mahone Nursing Home. Born at Albany Cross, Annapolis County, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Sedila (Woodworth) Goucher. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Margaret Hoar, Chipman, N.B.; Florence (Mrs. Robert Ball), Caledonia; Olive (Mrs. George Mansfield), South Brookfield; three sons, Denia, Ellot, and Mervin, all of Caledonia; a sister, Mrs. Annie Acker, Wilmot; 11 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, J. Frederick; two sisters, Mae and Gladys; three brothers, Clarence, Cecil, and Charles. The body is in Chandlers' Funeral Home, Liverpool. Funeral will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Caledonia United Church, Rev. Thomas Robertson officiating with burial in Highland View Cemetery, Caledonia. Family flowers only.
