Effie Blanche Delisle 1994 Halifax Chronicle Herald Effie Blanche Delisle, 95, Berwick, formerly of Springfield, Mass., died October 6, 1994, in Western Kings Memorial Hospital, Berwick. Born at East Dalhousie, she was a daughter of the late Gilbert and Rachel (Wile) Burgoyne. She was a member of Springfield Methodist Church, Massachusetts. She is survived by a sister, Grace Crouse, Springfield, Annapolis County; two grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband, George; son, Franklyn; four brothers, Frank, Wilbert, Howard, Clayton; five sisters, Rosetta Curtis, Eva Burgoyne, Priscilla Wile, Mary Dorey, Inez Meldrum. Visitstion will be 7-9 p.m. tonight in H.C. Lindsay Memorial Chapel, Berwick, where funeral will be 1 a.m. Saturday, Rev. Donald MacPherson officiating. Burial will be in Aylesford Union Cemetery. Donations may be made to Western Kings Memorial Hospital or Eldridge's Rest Home.
