Harry V. Buckmaster Harry V. Buckmaster, 77, paassed away Tuesday, March 4, at the Fishermen's Memorial Hospital. Born at Lunenburg, he was a son of the late Arthur and Gertrude (Romkey) Buckmaster. He was an active member of St. John's Anglican Church, Lunenburg, where he served on the vestry and as warden. He was deputy-mayor of the town of Lunenburg for a number of years. He was an ardent fisherman, hunter, and a former director of the Lunenburg Fish and Game Association. He is survived by his wife, the former Grace Mosher; three sisters, Grace (Mrs. Walter Scott), Caledonia; Emma (Mrs. Leon Lohnes), Lunenburg; Elizabeth (Mrs. Roger Sarty), First Peninsula; and three brothers, Charles, First Peninsula; Arthur, Montreal; and Roy, Ottawa. Funeral service was held from St. John's Anglican Church on Friday, March 7, with the Rev. Bruce Howe officiating. The pallbearers were Henry Kerr, Rod Rowlands, Morse Eisenhauer, Basil Grandy, Ronald Strum, and Ronald Corkum.
