    3. UNKNOWN PAPER - FEBRUARY 1955 GEORGE NEIL MURRAY - Earltown Native Killed in Alaska. Earltown - It was with deep regret that relatives and friends learned that George Neil MURRAY 61, of Wrangell, Alaska, was fatally injured in a sawmill accident at the Wrangell Lumber Company on Thursday, February 3. Born in Earltown, Colchester County, son of the late Neil and Margaret MURRAY, he spent the greater part of his life in the American West and about 15 years ago he moved to Alaska where he was employed. Funeral services were held on February 5 at the First Presbyterian Church, Wrangell. The Rev. Paul E. EVANS, pastor of the church which Mr. MURRAY was an elder, officiated at the services. The church was filled to capacity with sorrowing friends. Burial was in Wrangell Memorial Cemetery. He is survived by daughters, Mrs. Josephine BROMMERS, Monroe, Wash., and Mrs. Maxine Peterson, Everitt, Wash., and sons Neil, Olympia, Wash., and brothers Peter, Robert and William. Two years ago the late Mr. MURRAY returned on his first visit to his native country where he visited relatives and friends in Earltown, North River and other places.
