Edna Louise Daniel 1978 Bridgewater Bulletin This community, Dayspring, was saddened recently by the passing of Edna L. Daniel who died suddenly at home on May 29, 1978. Born at Oakland, she was the former Edna Hirtle, daughter of Clarence Hirtle and the late Sarah Hirtle. She was an active member of the Golden Youth Club and a long time member of Bridgewater TOPS Club. She won many awards while she was a member of the TOPS organization, including a charm bracelet and several pins. Surviving besides her father are her husband, Alton Daniel; two sons, Carrol of Dayspring; Harold of Dartmouth; and three grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother, William, Oakland; two sisters, Margaret (Mrs. Wilbur Mader), Verdun, Quebec; Genieve Fancy, LaHave; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, Robert, in 1967. Funeral service was held from Sweeny's Funeral Home, Lunenburg, May 31, 1978. Interment was in Sunny Valley Cemetery, Centre.
