    3. Joshua Hector Tipert 1993 Halifax Chronicle Herald Joshua Hector Tipert, 83, New Germany, died June 8, 1993, in South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater. Born at New Germany, he was a son of the late Arthur James and Flora Belle (Lohnes) Tipert. He served in England during the Second World War with the Royal Canadian Air Force. He had served with the Canadian Corps of Commissionaires in Halifax and Dartmouth. He was a member of St. John-in-the-Wilderness Anglican Church, New Germany and Bridgewater Curling Club. He is survived by a daughter, Susan (Mrs. Paul Feener), Front Centre; two sons, Richard, Dartmouth; Wayne, Sydney River; two sisters, Ferne, Hazel, both of New Germany; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two nieces and two nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Effie St.Clair Legge; two brothers, Bernard and Forrest. Visittion will be 2-4 ,7-9 p.m. today in New Germany Funeral Home. Funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday in St. John-in the- Wilderness Anglican Church, Rev. Peter Armstrong officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Donations may be made to St. John-in-the-Wilderness Anglican Church or any charity.
