OBIT # 5202 - EVENING NEWS - 5 JULY 1949: TRENTON- Neighbours and friends in Trenton were shocked when they learned MARY DOLINA CAMPBELL has passed peacefully away in the Point Edward Sanitorium near Sydney,C.B., on June 10th, where she had been a patient for almost four months. After hospitalization she responded to to the treatment and was looking forward to being able to return home in a few days, when suddently the meningitis again gained a foothold and everything possible was done in an effort to relieve her condition and suffering , but to no avail, she gradually weakened and passed away to higher service. The funeral was held in the Church of the Nazarene, Trenton on Tuesday afternoon, and was largely attended. The service was conducted by Rev.Roland Stanford. The hymns sung were"The Old Rugged Cross","Abide With Me". Mrs. Issac Simpson and Miss Gertrude Stanford sang in a touching manner that lovely hymn"Sometimes".
