Patricia Marie Brown 2000 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: February 9, 2000. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Patricia Marie "Tish" Brown, 48, Chester, died February 7, 2000, at home, after a long illness. Born in Sydney, she was a daughter of Geraldine "Bonnie" (Whiting) Sheppard, Windsor and the late John Sheppard. She moved to Chester at a young age and was an active member of the Brownies and Girl Guides. She served as District Commissioner of the Girl Guides. She worked as front deak clerk at Oak Island Inn, Western Shore for a number of years. She leaves to mourn her mother, husband, Arthur; son, Dwayne, Ottawa; and daughter, Lisa, Chester; a very special niece, Shanon Sheppard, Chester. She will be greatly missed by many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was predeceased by her father, brother, Stephen; sister, Beth; maternal and paternal grandparents. Visitation 2-4 7-9 p.m. today in Davis Funeral Home, Chester. Funeral service Thursday at 2 p.m. in St. Stephen's Anglican Church, Chester, Rev. Sean Taylor officiating. Interment in the Bayview Cemetery. Flowers accepted or donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Multiple Sclerosis Association of Nova Scotia would be appreciated.
