Sherman Maxwell Zemke 2000 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: February 3, 2000. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Sherman Maxwell Zemke, 69, Sudbury, Ontario, died January 30, 2000, in St. Laurentian Hospital, Sudbury. Born at First Peninsula, Lunenburg County, he was the son of the late Charles and Hazel (Nauss) Zemke. He spent his early boyhood years in Bridgewater. He was employed with Sears until his retirement. He loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, and travelling. Surviving are his maternal aunt, Helen D. (Nauss) Zinck, Blockhouse and several cousins. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Joyce Jandrew. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service at a later date in Sudbury.
