Betty Ellen Hatt 2000 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Tuesday, February 1, 2000. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Betty Ellen Hatt, 74, Halifax, and formerly of Mahone Bay, died January 29, 2000, in the VG Site, QEII. Born at East Chester, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Inez (Hodges) Conrad. She is survived by daughters, Margaret Eisnor and her husband Ralph, Oakhill; Shirley MacKenzie and her husband Eric, Halifax; Sylvia Langille and her husband Vernon, Caledonia; sons, Cedric and his wife Ruby, Bernie and his wife Lois, all of Hamilton, Ontario; Brian, Calgary; Arthur and his wife Doreen; George and his wife Darlene, all of Lunenburg; Dale and his wife Nicole, North East Harbour; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; several cousins. She was predeceased by companion, Frederick Gilbert; brothers, Bernard and Bruce. Visitation will be in Mahone Funeral Home, Mahone Bay, today 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, Rev. Linda Macdonald officiating. Burial will be in the Park Cemetery, Mahone Bay. Memorial donations may be made to any charity through the Mahone Funeral Home.
