Mrs. Stella R. Bruhm 1977 Bridgewater Bulletin Mrs. Stella R. Bruhm, widow of Theophilus Bruhm, West Northfield, passed away at the D.M. Hospital, Bridgewater, on Saturday morning, November 26, 1977. Born at West Northfield, the late Mrs. Bruhm, who was 84 years of age at the time of her passing, was the daughter of the late Albert and Alice (Sarty) Feener. She is survived by one daughter, Marjorie (Mrs. Earl Crouse), Cookville; two grandsons, Caroll and James Crouse and one great grandson, Jonathan. Also surviving is one brother, Harold, of West Northfield. She was predeceased by her husband in 1952 and a son, Lester, in 1973. Funeral service was held on Monday, November 28 at 2 p.m. at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, West Northfield, of which the deceased was a faithful member. Pastor Ralph Keith officiated, basing his sermon on the lesson Romans 8:31-39. Hymns sung were "My Faith Looks Up to Thee" and "What A Friend we Have in Jesus," favourite hymns of the late Mrs. Bruhm. It is of interest that she was organist at St. Andrew's Union Church for a number of years. Pallbearers were nephews, James, Robert, Paul, Lawrence, and George Bruhm and Harris Turner. Interment was in Maple Grove Cemetery, West Northfield.
