Born at Fraxville, Lunenburg County, she was a daughter of the late Luke and Esther (Legge) Hiltz. She was a resident of Belmont for the past 62 years. She was a member of Wesley United Church UCW, Belmont. Surviving are her husband Earle; daughters, Marilyn, Belmont; Sandra Wheaton, Wheaton Settlement, New Brunswick; brother, Burgess, Berwick; sisters, Idella Parrish, Lower Sackville; Lhurdna, Auburn; Beachel Hiltz, Meadow Lake, Saskatachewan; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brothers, Arnold, Basil, Morris; sisters, Selena, Marjorie; a grandson. Visitation 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, funeral 2 p.m. Thursday, both in Mattatall Funeral Home, Truro, Rev. Janet Blois officiating. Burial at a later date in Belmont Cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or Wesley United Church, Belmont.
