    3. UNKNOWN PAPER - APRIL 1977 ALEX FERGUSON, 65, of 162 Dominion Street, Truro, died Friday, April 22, 1977, at home. Born in West Earltown, he was the son of Mrs. Effie (HAYMAN) FERGUSON and the late William FERGUSON. He was employed with Truro Wholesalers as a commercial traveller. He was a member and elder of First United Church, a member of Phoenix Lodge No. 50 Mount Seir Encampment and Canton Fundy No. 7. Surviving besides his mother, are his wife, the former Minnie THOMPSON; a son, Reginald, Dartmouth; eight sisters, Frances (Mrs. Murray MacBAIN), The Falls; Mrs. Catherine CARTER, Amherst; Anne (Mrs. Norman HARRIS), Sudbury, Ont.; Evelyn (Mrs. Ray THOMPSON), New Annan; Janet (Mrs. Kenneth THOMPSON), and Irene, both of Truro; Dorothy (Mrs. Albron MURPHY), Earltown; Christine (Mrs. James TOWNSEND), Moncton; three brothers, Donald, Truro, Henry, Tatamagouche; and Harold, Earltown. The body rested at Mattatall Funeral Home, Truro, where funeral service was held Monday, at 2 p.m., Rev. David McNAUGHTON officiating. Burial was in Robie Street cemetery.
