Mrs. George Gallant Mrs. George Gallant passed away at her home at First Peninsula on Friday, aged 43 years. The late Mrs. Gallant was formerly Miss Edith DeLong, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Allan DeLong of Barss Corner. For some years she had resided in the United States where she met and married her first husband, Seba Emeneau of First Peninsula, who passed away a few years ago, after returning to their native soil. Besides her husband, the late Mrs. Gallant is survived by one brother, Charles DeLong of Barss Corner. The funeral was held on Sunday afternoon from Sweeny's Funeral Parlour, with Dr. H.S.B. Strothard of Central United Chuchch of which deceased was a member, officiating. Interment was in the Hillcrest Cemetery.
