OBIT # 5215- EASTERN CHRONICLE - 9 November, 1944: Mrs. D. GRAY FRASER passed away at her home, East River Road, following a long illness. Mrs.Fraser was the former ELIZABETH GAULT of Paisley, Scotland and in 1917 was married to LESLIE W. FRASER, New Glasgow, who was serving in the ROYAL NAVY. They came to Canada and resided in Calgary, Alta., later in Pictou County. She is survived by her second husband, D.GRAY FRASER, formerly of Hopewell; a daughter, ELSIE and a step-son, DONALD HUGH FRASER, of the R.C.A.F.; also three sisters, two in Paisley and one in New York. Rev.W.Lloyd MacLellan of First Presbyterian Church, assisted by Rev.C.F.R. MacLellan of Trinity United Church, conducted the funeral service held from her late home with the interment at the Lorne Street cemetery.
