Roy Conrad Mills 1992 Halifax Chronicle Herald Roy Conrad Mills, 63, Blue Rocks, died August 24, 1992, in Victoria General Hospital. Born at English Harbour, Newfoundland, he was a son of Mrs. Katherine (Parson) Mills, Halifax and the late John Mills. He was employed as a tugboat engineer for 20 years, serving the last seven years out of Bay Comeau, Quebec, until retirement. He was a member of St. Barnabas Anglican Church, Blue Rocks. He is survived by his wife, the former Ruth Knickle; three daughters, Cathy (Mrs. Timothy Spidle), Martin's River; Margo Mills, Lunenburg; Lisa (Mrs. Todd Zinck), Blue Rocks; two sons, John, Blockhouse; Roy, at home; four grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister. The body has been cremated under the direction of Dana L. Sweeny Funeral Home, Lunenburg, graveside committal service will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Upper Blue Rocks Cemetery, Rev. Robert Coote officiating. in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or any charity.
