Mrs. Erna Gladys MacKay 1986 Halifax Chronicle Herald Mrs. Erna Gladys MacKay, 88, of Stanley Section, died Tuesday, November 4, 1986, at the Mahone Nursing Home, after a lengthy illness. Born at New Canada, July 25, 1898, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Princetta (Rhodenizer) Semone. Left to mourn her passing are three daughters, Viola (Mrs. Milton Lyon), New Canada; Marguerite (Mrs. Lemuel MacKay), Wentzell's Lake; and Thelma (Mrs. Gordon Mader), Lake Echo; one son, Laurie of Stanley Section; 17 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Willard; a son, Mark; a sister, Eva; and a brother, Laurie.
