Mrs. Henry H. McFarland 1976 Bridgewater Bulletin Mrs. Henry H. McFarland of New Germany, 82, passed away on Thursday, September 16, at the D.M. Hospital, Bridgewater. Born at Gagetown, New Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late Isaac Gardiner and Lavinia Baldwin. Mrs. McFarland lived for many years at Kensington, P.E.I., in Pictou, and for the past twenty-five years in New Germany. She was predeceased by her husband in May of this year. She is survived by a son, Harold Bruce McFarland, Halifax; a daughter, Mrs. Michael Boland, of Toronto; twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a brother, Roy Gardiner, Norton, N.B. Funeral services for the late Mrs. McFarland were held on Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Anglican Church of St. John's in the Wilderness, New Germany, with the Rev. Tattrie officiating.
