    3. Mrs.F.L. Frederick 1947 Bridgewater Bulletin The death of Ellen Gusandra (nee Ellen Woodworth), the wife of Farish Frederick, Waterloo, took place November 13, at about 9 p.m., in the home of her sister, Mrs. Roscoe Joudrey, at Bridgewater. Her sister cared tenderly for her up to her last. Mrs. Frederick was 54 years old on February 25th last and was ill for the past few months. She is survived by her husband and two daughters, Pauline and Gladys, at home; one sister, Mary (Mrs. Roscoe Joudrey), Bridgewater; four brothers, Maurice of Chelsea; Grafton of Somerville, Mass.; Edmund of Waterloo; Isaac of Bridgewater; two half-brothers, Joseph and Elias of chelsea; a brother, Asher of bridgewater; and two half-brothers, Daniel of Laconia and William of Moser's River, all predeceased her. She was a member of St. Michael's Ev. Lutheran Church, Waterloo. She enjoyed a visit from her pastor, Rev. Lukens, upon which she received private communion and prayers. Her passing came as a shock to Rev. Lukens because she passed jokes and was friendly at that hour, 5 p.m. on November 13. She was conscious up to the last. The committal service was at the cemetery in Waterloo and service at the church with her pastor, Rev. Lukens, officiating ,who gave a comforting message to the mourners, taking his text from II Kings 30-1. The hymns sung were "Our God, our Help in Ages Past," "Asleep in Jesus" and "Rock of Ages," the first one being the same as for her mother and father. The pall-bearers were Locke and Charles Himmelman, Wilbert Garber, and Gilbert Whynot.
