Edmonds, 83, Mount Uniacke, formerly of Albro Lake Road, Dartmouth, passed away January 23, 2000, at home. Born in Lunenburg County, she was a daughter of the late Edward Roy and Annie Rose (Corbett) Knickle. She retired from CFB Shearwater after many years of service. She is survived by her daughter, Doreen and husband Eric Ritchie; granddaughter, Karen and husband Randall Clarke and their daughter, Katherine; grandson, Dale and wife Alvina and their children, Michael and Patricia Ritchie, all of Mount Uniacke; brother Harold, Halifax. She was predeceased by her husband, Gerald; sisters, Pauline, Cortella, Pearl Hazel Brine; brother, Edward. Visitation today from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Funeral service on Thursday at 10 a.m., both in Atlantic Funeral Home, Lower Sackville. Burial will be in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. Reception to follow in Atlantic Funeral Home, Dartmouth. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of your choice.
