Smith, Dartmouth, passed away peacefully, after a brief illness, February 24, 2000, in her home. Born at Rose Bay, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Clara Mossman. She was a retired registered medical laboratory technologist having worked at the Nova Scotia Hospital, Dartmouth Medical Centre, Moncton Hospital, and the Sackville Medical Centre, Sackville, New Brunswick. She was the loving mother to sons, Gary, Burrlington, Ontario; Graham (Kathy), Dartmouth; daughters, Heather (Gene) Smith-Shave, Saint John; Nancy, New Glasgow; grandchildren, Adam, Jessica, Craig, Graham, Alyson, Kate. She was predeceased by her husband, Carl; son, Michael "Bear"; brothers,Frank, Edward, Harris, Gilbert. Visitation from 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today in Atlantic Funeral Home, Dartmouth. Funeral 2 p.m. Saturday in Grace United Church, Dartmouth. A reception in the funeral home following the interment.
