Oliver Hemeon 2000 Halifax Chronicle Herald Published: Tuesday, February 3, 2000. >From the collection of Gwen Christie Oliver Hemeon, 90, Sandy Point, Shelburne County, died January 28, 2000, in the Roseway Hospital, Sandy Point. Born at Sandy Point, he was a son of the late Nathaniel and Kattie (Lewis) Hemeon. He was a labourer all of his working life. Surviving are sons, Robert, Ernest, Anthony, Eldridge, Jerry, Sandy Point; Donald Brown, North East Point; stepson, Lloyd, Shelburne; daughter, Grace, Sandy Point; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Angelia; daughters, Rosalie, Mabel; brothers, Leslie, Nathaniel; sisters, Myrtle, Priscella. Visitation 2-4, 7-9 p.m. today funeral 2 p.m. Wednesday both in H.M. Huskilson's Funeral Home, Shelburne, Rev. Les Jobb officiating. Burial in Dall Cemetery, Sandy Point. In lieu of flowers, donations to Roseway Hospital.
