Elwood Sarty 1907 Bridgewater Bulletin We regret having to report the death of Elwood, second son of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace C. Sarty, who died from the effects of scarlet fever on Saturday last. The burial took place at the Lutheran Cemetery on Monday afternoon. Rev. C.H. Little conducted the service. Elwood was a bright little fellow of six years and a general favourite, and his early death has caused a feeling of sadness to rest not only upon the home but the school he attended and the community as well. The parents and friends have our kindest sympathies. (Church records have his death as December 14, 1907.)
