Michael Austin Meisner 1986 Bridgewater Bulletin Michael Austin Meisner, New Canada, passed away August 23, 1986, in the Halifax Infirmary. Born at New Germany, November 11, 1957, he was the son of Edward and Edna (Anthony) Meisner. He was an employee of Silvers' Limited for ten years, until his illness. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 102, and a member of the Barss Corner Baptist Church. He is survived by his common-law wife, Penny Bruhm; his parents; two brothers, Arnold, Barrie, Ontario; Lawrence, Ottawa; one sister, Dianne Fava, Toronto; and a stepsister, Katheleen Flynn, Ellershouse. The body rested at Langille's Funeral Home, New Germany until Tuesday afternoon. The funeral service was held from the United Baptist Church, Barss Corner. THe Rev. Malcolm Beckett officiated. Interment was in the Community Cemetery, Barss Corner.
